Employer
Time is money, errors in judgement could cost you £62,000.
Are you looking for an Employment Tribunal Lawyer or an Employment Tribunal Solicitor to help you?
Employment Law
The limit of damages that the Tribunal can award in respect of unfair dismissal is in excess of £62,000. Now more than ever it pays to seek legal advice before decisions are taken.
The pace of change in employment regulations is faster than many aspects of law. This makes it difficult to stay in control of the most expensive budgetary element of your business. As a consequence of failing to keep pace mistakes are more likely and can be very expensive.
Things to look out for:
- Drafting Employment Contracts
- Restrictive Covenants
- How to Dismiss fairly
- Health & Safety issues
- Dealing with Stress
- Redundancy
- Transfer of Undertakings Regulations (TUPE Law)
TUPE Law Solicitors Northampton
In April 2006, new regulations for TUPE Law came into force for the UK. TUPE, standing for The Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations were previously set out in 1981.
Some of the changes to TUPE Law in 2006 include;
- The requirement for the previous employer (transferor) to provide all relevant employee liability information to the new employer (transferee)
- To provide better flexibility when applying the regulations to transfers of insolvent businesses, to make it more appealing for potential investors to save those businesses and the jobs at that business.

Unlike many firms we endeavour to ensure that time spent assessing the options available is as productive as possible and the amount of time you spend away from your business is kept to an absolute minimum.
