Our Team
Meet the Partners of Turner Coulston
Roland Benneworth
In 1970 at the age of 20 I commenced articles with a Solicitor in a local Northampton firm, Max Engel & Co. After completing Articles in 1975 I joined a sole practitioner as an assistant and became a partner immediately following admission in 1978. I was involved in general law dealing with most aspects over the 11 years at that practice.
In January 1987 I left that partnership to be reunited with my former principal, Leo Coulston, who had moved on to form his own firm, Leo Coulston & Co. I joined as a partner. Later that same year premises were acquired at Billing Road from which the firm continued to practice before amalgamating with Keith Turner & Ashton in 1993.
I have handled a wide variety of legal matters since that time but having specialised in commercial and residential conveyancing for a few years I have spent the last fifteen years specialising in Personal Injury claims and I am the partner in charge of a dedicated team of PI experts.
For some variation I am still involved in preparing Wills, dealing with Probate and Conveyancing, but mainly for long standing clients.
My main leisure activities are supporting Ipswich Town Football Club and Motorcycling.
